Outside Your City

Following the #MusicMonday (twitter) theme, there will be a track posted (via soundcloud) every Monday for your listening and commenting pleasure.
Some music is lost by the artist never having a chance to go back to some older things he/she was working on. Being lost on HDD’s that have crashed, and burnt CD’s that have disappeared. Other times great music is only shared within a city from which the artist produced it from. Using the internet I will harness the best technologies to make socially aware of the type of music people are looking for.
Many times we do not have insight or are made aware of music on the other side of the States. I’m looking for great music by the best artists in every city in the US, and by country until I can narrow it down a bit. We will start to see which areas are moving with the music trend. I plan to organize collections of your favorite local artists’ tracks/music by genre and city, starting with my hometown Buffalo, NY. Nothing new here, just a better and more organized social and collaborative effort to share music by using internet technologies to manage its reach.
